This is going to be a brief post but hopefully still an enlightening one.

Way back in July 2012, I published this post detailing what I considered at the time to be pretty good conversion rates for one of the clients I work with. The customer that I used as an example in this original post has since installed phone conversion tracking to help us diagnose a significant discrepancy in the number of enquiries I was recording in the Adwords interface and the total volume recorded by their sales manager.
